A PIM solution that is suitable for more than 100,000 products and variants is usually a bit more expensive. The price list of many PIM systems has different ways to calculate the monthly price that must be paid. Because SAAS solutions are hosted by the supplier, the storage of data is also included in the price. The more is stored and the more traffic goes to and from the PIM solution, the more expensive the subscription usually.
