Data pool connectivity

Data pool connectivity is a feature in a PIM system that allows external data from known data pools to be easily imported and used two-way. Examples of data pools include GS1, TecDoc, IMPA, IceCat, etc. Being able to use two-way is more than just a data feed to the relevant data pool. The data feed must also be able to receive data that has been enriched back from your system. In this way the data becomes richer and it can call itself a community pool. However, most PIM solutions do not have two-way links, but only an import feed with a data pool. So pay close attention to your choice.
