Listings in Roles and Rights Management

The role and rights management function is becoming increasingly important for a PIM system. In the early days of PIM, only product data employees actually worked. But because a PIM solution is becoming more and more central in a commercial organization, more employees are involved. In order to properly separate the functions and rights of all parties involved, a good roles and rights system is necessary. The larger or more complex an organization is, the more important this becomes. This is also essential if the organization has many different divisions or if the product enrichment process has many steps.
