Workflow management is the ideal function in a PIM system when it comes to organizing successive tasks in the process of producing product content. In addition to sequential tasks, tasks can also run in parallel so that time savings can be obtained. The workflow manager is very simple and effective in some PIM systems, but when more complexity is desired, there are also enough systems that can build any required workflow. It is true that many of these more complex systems usually cannot be set up by the business itself. Continued help from IT or business consultancy is needed here. but once properly set up, workflows save a lot of time and reduce the chance of errors. A well-designed workflow therefore always yields money!
