Translation management is a function that not many systems have yet. Of course, most PIM systems are equipped with a device for multilingualism, but that is not yet translation management. Translating product information has been the domain of translation agencies for years, but is increasingly becoming the task of AI and Machine Learning. Where previously complex two-way links were set up to translation agencies, now an API with translation solutions such as DeepL, Google Translate or Bing Translate is sufficient. These robot translations used to be not very good, but the quality of these translations is now almost 100%. Where the finer points really count, editing still has to take place. All in all, a nice new PIM system feature for companies that use content in many different languages.
